Rigby’s Story
Rigby has chosen a rather unusual best friend.
Instead of another alpaca, he’s completely devoted to Fleckie, our young steer. Their friendship reached a whole new level the day Rigby decided eating hay straight from Fleckie’s mouth was perfectly acceptable. Apparently, Fleckie didn’t mind.
Like Mordecai, Rigby arrived at the sanctuary gentle but cautious. He still likes to take his time, watching the world before stepping into it, but little by little he’s discovering that this is a place where he can simply relax.
Metta named him after another Regular Show character. While the cartoon Rigby is all chaos, ours is thoughtful, sweet and happiest beside his favourite cow.
Watching Rigby settle in has been one of the joys of sanctuary life. Trust doesn’t arrive all at once. It grows.
