Matilda’s Story
Some animals stop you in your tracks. Matilda is one of them.
She’s undeniably beautiful, but it’s her gentle nature that people remember. Those big, loving eyes seem to soften everyone they meet.
A good cheek rub is one of life’s greatest pleasures, closely followed by bouncing around the paddock with Delilah for absolutely no reason at all.
Matilda has formed a special bond with Glenn, but she’s just as devoted to Delilah. They’re rarely far apart, moving through the sanctuary together with the ease of lifelong friends.
Maybe that’s Matilda’s greatest gift. She shows us that strength doesn’t always make the loudest entrance. Sometimes it arrives with kind eyes and an open heart.
